Maintenance box for Sneeboer garden tools includes-

A firm box filled with a wire brush, for brushing off the sand from the tool. A whetstone made from silicon-carbide (with a rough side and a fine side) to sharpen your tools with water. The whetstone has a very rough granular base which makes it suitable for sharpening stainless steel.

Before sharpening the tool, place the whetstone under water for about 10 minutes. Make sure that when sharpening the tool you always have a layer of water between the whetstone and the tool.

Never use an electrical whetstone to sharpen your garden tool. Because of the heat that is produced working with an electrical tool the steel will be impaired considerably.

The box also contains a bottle of linseed oil with a rag for maintenance of the wooden handles.
